Samanta Chandra Sekhar Institute of Technology and Management (SCITM) was started in 2001 to provide the students with value-based education with the technical knowledge to become innovative professionals of the future industrial sectors. The institute is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and is recognized by (AICTE), New Delhi.

• The institute has tied up with National Aluminum Company Limited (NALCO), Damanjodi for technical help, and with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Sunabeda for technical and financial expertise.
