• To join UG courses, you need to have passed your 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks from a good board.
• Admission to PG programs depends on Kumaun University's merit list and entrance exams. Your results in these exams matter for PG admissions.
• If you're applying for an MBA, you need to have passed the CAT/MAT exam and a bachelor's degree from a UGC-accredited university or college.

To apply for admission to Kumaun University, follow these steps on their website:

• Go to the Admission section on the website.
• Click the link for the online application.
• Choose your desired program in the Online Admission portal through Kumaun University Student Login.
• Pay the fees by clicking "PAY FEES."
• You'll be directed to a new website to generate a challan or pay online.
• Provide the bank with the requested information during payment. They'll give you a 10-digit Character Transaction Number.
• Before starting the application, note down your bank's date of birth and transaction number.
• Once the University receives your payment within 24 hours, you can proceed with the application.
• Fill out the form carefully and upload a scanned JPEG file of your photograph and signature.
• After filling out the form, you'll get a Registration Number and Password via SMS and email.

At Kumaun University, there is a place where you can get help with finding jobs and planning your career. It is called the Placement and Career Counseling Cell. They assist students who are in their last year of studies in landing jobs. For MBA graduates, the average package offered was INR 2.5 LPA. To be eligible for placement, students need to have scored at least 65% in their bachelor's degree exams.
