KMCT Medical College

KMCT Medical College, Kozhikode, started in the year 2008 and is located in Mukkam Road, Manassery, and Kerala 673602. It is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences and approved by the Medical Council of India. MBBS course got recognition in the year 2013, and PG courses were started in the year 2015.  

• The campus area is 60 acres. There is a big lecture hall with a capacity of 750 students, computer labs, LCD monitors, WIFI facility and hostels buildings, AC hall, seminar hall, well stock library, practical ground, etc.
• The central government recognizes the MBBS course in the academic year 2013, and the post-graduation courses began in 2015 in specializations as Pharmacology & Orthopaedics.
• In 2016-17, by the Central government approval, this college was granted 100- 150 seats for the MBBS course.
• The college is attached to KMCT medical college, which has a bed capacity of 650. The hospital building is well established and equipped with general facilities and is staffed with supportive people.
• The associated hospital is having cardiology, Nephrology, and Neurology departments and is functioning very well.
• KMCT Medical College, Kozhikode courses have been MBBS as general undergraduate program and MS & MD as post-graduate programs. MBBS course is for 4 ½ years of academic study and 1-year compulsory internship in the medical institute.
• There is a super specialty department, Clinical department, Para-clinical department, and non-clinical department.
