Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

Karuna Medical College offers UG courses like MBBS with the duration period of 5 and half years which include 1 year internship, B.Sc. (Nursing) and B. Pharm is of 3years duration, Pharm. D is of 6years duration. PG courses like MD are of 3years course duration and M. Pharm. is of 2years duration period. The Admission for UG courses is based on marks scored in NEET UG entrance examination, for PG courses admissions is on the basis of NEET PG entrance exam score.

Candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Medical Council of India.
Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must complete their internship on or before 30th April.

Courses like MBBS, BDS, MS & MD are offered by Karuna Medical College. Fee structure for courses is feasible; for MBBS through general quota the total expenditure is approximately INR 25 Lakhs. Admission is via NEET entrance examination and valid score as per the cut off marks is expected. Aspirants can fill the NEET application form online in the month of February through official website and the application fee for general/OBC is INR 1,500. In addition candidate must also have completed 10+2 with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% (45% for reserved category) aggregate marks.

Karuna Medical College Admission for MBBS basically includes: The candidate should have cleared their 12th grade or an equivalent in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors and having secured a min. of 50% average marks or an equivalent from a recognized institute. The candidate should also not be less than 17 years’ of age. The candidate should have taken the national level entrance test such as the NEET-UG. The score secured in this, will play a vital role in getting through. Aspirants can apply offline at the colleges’ admissions office to apply by making a minimum payment for the forms.

Hi, for admission through management quota candidates should have minimum 50% aggregate in PCB in XII and one can visit the college admission section and seek for admissions.

  • The basic criteria to get admitted for MBBs is to have good score in NEET and minimum 50% in 12th where Science being your stream and Biology as mandatory subject.
  • In case candidates need admissions through management quota the fee would be more than the general fee.
  • The general fee structure  would be approximately INR 500,000 for annum and it would cost around 2,500,000 for 5 years.

Hi, there will be few seats reserved for NRI candidates however one must be eligible enough to take admissions and also fee that has to be paid will be higher.
