Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2021

The college offers MBBS courses with 5year duration, MD, MS, DM, and M.Ch. Courses with a 3years duration period and PG-Diploma and M.Sc. are of 2years duration. BDS and B.Sc. course duration are of 4years, MDS course is of 3years duration period. PGDM course duration of 12months, MPH, MHA, M.Sc., Diploma, M.Phil. , is of 2year duration period. The Admission for UG courses like MBBS is based on marks scored in the NEET UG entrance examination; PG courses like MD, MS, and PG-Diploma admissions are based on the NEET PG entrance exam score. For DM and M.Ch, admission is based on the NEET SS examination score. Admissions for BDS and MDS courses are as per NEET norms, and for nursing courses, admissions are based on merit. An admission for Pharmacy is based on a valid score obtained in the GPAT entrance examination. Admissions for Allied Health Sciences are curriculum by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.

B.SC
(Medical)

MD

Candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Medical Council of India.
Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must complete their internship on or before 30th April.
Must have a Permanent Medical Registration from the Medical Council of India

NEET PG score

MS

M.Sc

Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic & Post Basic) with 55% aggregate marks. Minimum one-year experience after B.Sc. Basic Nursing.
Candidates must have passed the B.Sc. Paramedical Science in the relevant stream.

Selection will be made based on a qualifying examination, followed by an interview by the management.

MDS

Candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Dental Council of India.
Candidates must have a BDS degree from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
Must have permanent registration from the Dental Council Of India.

Candidates must clear the NEET (National Eligibility & Entrance Test) conducted on an India basis.

DM

Must pass recognized degree of MD
(or its equivalent recognized degree) in the subject specified. Must possess M.Ch courses in any subject must posses recognized degree of MS

NEET SS score

M.Ch

Degree of MS (or its equivalent recognized degree) in the
subject specified in the regulations of the Medical Council of India from time to time.

M.Phill

Post-Graduation in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification with a min. Score 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.

 

MPH

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream or an equivalent qualification with a min. Score 50% from a recognized university.
SC/ST Less 5%.

NEET SS Score

MHA

The candidates should have a bachelor's degree in MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/B. Pharmacy/B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Offline counseling and admission are made based on the rank lists drawn thereon.

Amrita Institute of Medical Science offers UG and PG courses in medical studies. For admission into UG medical courses aspirants must appear for NEET UG examination, whose application form can be filled online through the official website and the application fee is around INR 1,500 for general/OBC candidates. Valid score as per the cut off marks is mandatory in order to get shortlisted for admission. In addition candidate must also have completed 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. Fee structure for courses is feasible; for MBBS the fee is approximately 90 lakhs for general quota; fee might be comparatively higher in case of management quota.

ASM does not provide a B.Sc. program for candidates seeking admission at ASM. However, at the UG level, there is an MBBS program available.

How to get admission for MBBS

MBBS at AIMS is offered for eligible students. Students applying for MBBS at AIMS must have passed HSC or 10+2 with 50% marks in PCB. Admission for the MBBS course at AIMS depends on NNET scores followed by counseling. NEET cut-off for MBBS is 32055-95035. This is the general cut-off. OBC, SC/ST students get 5% relaxation of percentage.

Qualification required is candidates must be 12th class passed with minimum 55% aggregate in PCB from a recognised board. Selection is the candidates for admissions to B.Sc. in Amrita Institute of Medical Science will be based on institute conducted entrance exam score.

Hi, the admission process is based on candidates NEET score and merit in +2 and the application process can be done through online or offline whichever is convenient to the candidate.

The total fee of MBBS is INR 90 lakhs and per year it is divides as INR 1 lakh.

Hi,

For B.Sc course in Cardiology, candidates should meet the minimum eligibility criteria of securing 50% aggregate in 12th. The admission and selection procedure depends on the student’s performance in personal interview.
