Amrita Institute of Medical Science

Amrita Institute of Medical Science was founded in the year 1998. It is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University (deemed) and approved by the Medical Council of India. It is the land of a 125-acre healthcare campus that boasts of a vibrant mix of medicine, science, and technology.

• There are 670 strong faculty members drawn from the best institutes across the world. Amrita School of Medicine was started in the year 2002. The hospital has an additional floor area of 1100000 sq. ft. Amrita School of Dentistry began in the year September 2003.
• Amrita College of Nursing was inaugurated on 1st November 2002. The Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) or 'Amrita Hospital' is a super-specialty tertiary care health center in Kochi, India.

The AIMS Institute offers courses like MBBS, MD/MS/PG-Diploma, DM/M.Ch in the School of Medicine. M.D.S and B.D.S in the field School of Dentistry. The college of Nursing offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses, and Allied Health Sciences offers PGDM, MPH, MHA, B.Sc. and M.Sc., Diploma in Dental Mechanics, and M.Phil.  in Clinical Psychology.
