The Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, located in Warangal, was established in 1980. The institute's foundation stone was set by the late PV Narasimha Rao, India's former prime minister. KITS Warangal affiliation with Kakatiya University. The college was recognized under the aegis of the Ekasila Education Society. The main objective of society is to develop KITS as a significant technical institution, imparting high-quality education to students belonging to backward categories. Moreover, it is the first private engineering college in Telangana Region. KITS is also proud of being the first college in the country to offer an Electronics and Instrumentation engg program since 1981.

Initially, KITS was established as an undergraduate institution. It has recorded impressive progress and offers PG courses in engineering and management disciplines. KITS Warangal Courses include B Tech, M Tech, and MBA. Students must confirm their requirements before applying for KITS Warangal admission. For admission to the B Tech, candidates will be shortlisted based on TS EAMCET Results. According to the student's results in the TS ICET, admission to the MBA program is granted. Admission to the M.Tech program is based on the results of the TS PGECET. The final seat allocation procedure will be done through counseling. KITS Warangal EAMCET Code is KITS.

To be noted, admissions will be granted in two categories that is Category "A" and Category "B." 70% of seat intake will be filled through counseling administrated by Telangana Govt based on Common entrance test merit rank. 30% of seats are reserved for KITS Warangal B Category Seats.

Kakatiya College B Tech fees is INR  1.2 Lakhs per annum. The course fee structure for MBA is INR 94k per annum. M Tech fees will be INR 74 Lakhs per year. Besides, Kakatiya Institute of Technology Management quota fees will be expensive.

Under the Welfare Departments Scheme, the KITS Warangal offers compensation for all students' tuition payments. On the Welfare Department's website, students must register themselves. After the registration process, they must download the application forms from e-PASS and send them to the college with the necessary supporting documentation.

The KITS campus provides the necessary facilities to ensure students can learn there without difficulty throughout college. On campus, separate hostels for boys and girls are available at afforable cost. KITS Warangal Hostel fees vary between INR 54k to 58k. The campus also has facilities such as a library, laboratories, an auditorium, a medical facility, Wi-Fi, IT infrastructure etc.
