Department of Business Administration-NMAMIT was designated Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management NITTE in 2006. But, the department came into existence in the year 1998. This college was renamed in honor of the late Justice K. S. Hegde, founder of the Nitte Group of Institutes. The college offers admission to the AICTE accredited MBA degree. It is an autonomous college allied with VTU. Besides, K S Hegde Institute of Management MBA holds recognition from NAAC, NBA, ACBSP, and is a member of AACSB. JKSHIM is one of the few business schools in India certified by these three organizations. JKSHIM NITTE is also a research center offering admission to the Ph.D. in management studies.

JKSHIM offers a two-year full-time MBA in five major specializations. Justice Ks Hegde Institute of Management MBA fees through government quota is approximately INR 1.53 Lakhs per year. Justice Ks Hegde College Management Quota fees are INR 2.45 Lakhs in total. AICTE approves JKSHIM Mangalore MBA. It has also been accredited internationally by ACBSP and is a member of AACSB. The academic curriculum is extensive and encompasses a wide range of managerial responsibilities. The annual intake for MBA is limited to 180 seats.

Students interested in getting admission into MBA at KS Hegde College Udupi must meet the eligibility criteria defined by the admission authority. And valid score on any of the management entrance tests is required.

JKSHIM MBA Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates for the Ks Hegde Institute Of Management MBA program must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 50% and have passed one of the following entrance exams: CAT, MAT, KMAT, PGCET.

Selection Criteria

• Suppose students applying for admission through government quota must clear either KPGCET or KMAT with a qualified score equivalent to the cutoff.
• They have to attend counseling rounds conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)
• The seat allocation will occur based on KPGCET/KMAT and choice preferences through counseling rounds.

• Hostel facilities are available to male students at the Institute, and students share a room. A manager oversees the operation of the campus's seven male hostels.
