JKSHIM was founded in 1988 by the trust of Nitte Education, located in Bangalore. The college has been named after the founder, Justice K.S. Hegde and the institute offers a 2-year full-time MBA program. The institute has been ranked among the top business schools in Business India's survey. It has been titled premier B-School based on its arch activity, academics, and consultancy performance.

Based on students' academic performance and good behavior, the NITTE institute offers meritorious students with fee concession. The extent of the fee concession to students will be based on the percentage of academic marks.

Cutoff Criteria:

Students with 50% aggregate in the degree level and based on the scores in the entrance exam like CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT followed by personal interview and group discussion, are eligible to apply for the MBA Course at JKSHIM.
