Institute offers Under Graduate Course in BE/B Tech and Graduate Course in ME/M Tech, MCA & MBA Course.

  • Candidates who are looking to take admission for BE/B Tech will be based on the candidates marks obtained in 10+2 Exam and must secure valid rank in KCET/COMEDK-UGET Entrance Exam.
  • Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the candidates aggregate marks obtained in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech and must secure valid score in KEA-PGCET/GATE Entrance Exam
  • Candidates who are looking to take admission for MCA & MBA must qualify in KEA-PGCET Entrance Exam with valid score and must eligible in bachelor’s degree with required aggregate marks.

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering offers UG Course BE/B Tech in 7 Specializations for the duration of 4 years. Candidates must qualify in 10+2 Examination with 45% aggregate marks in PCM (40% for SC/OBC/ST).Selection criteria of candidates will be done according to the rank obtained in KCET which will be organized by Karnataka Examination Authority & COMEDK-UGET Entrance Exam.

45% Seats are allocated for the Candidates who are taking admission through KCET and it is a Government Quota.30% Seats are allocated for COMEDK Students and 25% seats for Management Quota.

JNNCE, Shimoga ME/M Tech Admission Process

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Provides PG Course ME/M Tech in Seven Specialization for the duration of 2 years. Candidates must be qualified in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech with required aggregate marks. Selection of the candidates will be based on the rank obtained in KPGCET Entrance Exam which will be organized by KEA and Valid GATE score is also acceptable to get admission.

80% Seats will be allocated for the candidates who are taking admission under Government quota through entrance exam and remaining 20% seats will be allocated for Management Quota.

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering offers Master’s Degree MBA & MCA Course. Candidates must be graduated in bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category) to get eligible for admission. Selection of the Candidates will be based on the valid score obtained in KEA-PGCET Entrance Exam are qualified to take admission for MBA & MCA and Candidates who have secure valid score in KMAT/CMAT are also eligible to take admission for MBA.
