Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha started the Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) in 2001. The college offers courses like B.E, M.Tech, and MBA with specializations in respective fields, and the selection of candidates will be made based on the score in state-level exams like KCET and KPGCET. The college's vision is to become a famous technical institute in providing the students with a learning environment that is dynamic and transform the students into responsive human resource.

Accommodation facility is present for 300 male and female students away from home with necessary amenities to cater to the needs and mess facility with an affordable fee of INR 49.5K per annum. The library has a DELNET facility with access to various online portals, 5 online journals, 40 magazines, 124 national and international journals, 2907 CDs, 4547 titles, and 21338 volumes.

Placement:

Final year and pre-final year students are provided with internship opportunities and industrial tours with a reasonable stipend every month. More than 30 national and international organizations have visited the campus to hire students fitting the job profile. Industrial exposure is provided to the students regularly to make them understand modern technology in the industrial sectors.

The students' salary package is in the range of INR 2-4 LPA based on the performance in interviews. Mphasis, IBM, Green Print Technologies, Indian Army, Accord, UST Global, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Celstream, L&T, Persistence system, Robosoft, etc., are some of the companies visiting the campus annually.
