About Indian School of Mines

Indian School of Mines, which is shortly known as (ISM) situated in Dhanbad, was bought up in 1926. This institute is 1 of the most fabled universities for technological education and research in India. This institute was arranged for the status of a deemed to be university in 1967 under UGC and approved by AICTE. Since its formation, this institute has experienced significant expansion of its activities, and currently, it can be measured as a total technology education institute.

ISM institute has spread over around 88 hectares of land in the range of Dhanbad, 260 Kms from Kolkata. ISM institute supports the students in Research and Development like Construction of 3D Surface from Incompatible Curves, Synthesis of polynuclear metal complexes from metal ligands of group 14 elements and their catalytic activities and they also conduct several fests like SRIJAN is the annual inter-college Cultural Fest of ISM, Pratibimb which is the annual ten-day inter-departmental cultural competition is held in January. The students can find subway restaurants and chat shops near the college where the students can have fun with their friends.

What is the fee of BE and is entrance necessary

B.Tech fee structure of Indian School of Mines as a whole is around INR 8.91 lakhs which comprises of tuition fee, admission fees and other fees. The fee would not be the same for management quota or other category based students. Admissions to BE will be on basis of JEE Advanced and candidates should appear to get selected.

Yes, the college offers application fee waiver for women. Indian School of Mines application fee is INR 500 for EWS/UR/OBC, INR 250 for SC/ST/Women and INR 2000 for sponsored candidates.
