The BIT Mesra placement procedure follows these steps.

• The placement cell connects with multiple companies throughout the year.
• The candidates in their 7th semester or final year can register themselves for the placement.
• The cell then sends invitation letters to the selected companies to come for campus placement.
• The interested candidates then apply for the placement round. The placement round consists of various sets of evaluations.
• The candidates will have to go through the aptitude test, personal interview round, or G.D.
• The placement cell will keep the students updated on their status.
• The organizations will announce the final result and release it by the placement cells.

In 2024 Placement Drive, the institute recorded 92% of the placement percentage. The highest salary offered was 52 LPA. The average salary was 8 LPA. A total of 120 companies took part in the recruitment process. Amdocs recruited the highest number of candidates. It provided job opportunities for 33 students.
