Sastra University Hostel

SASTRA University Tamil Nadu, on the whole, has very good hostel facilities for students in a comfortable and secure environment. The hostels for boys and girls adequately possess all the facilities to ensure a living that is conducive to both academic and personal development.

Sastra University Hostel Facilities:

  • The hostel rooms at Sastra University are available in Single, Double, Triple and Four sharing rooms. 
  • The entire campus is Wi-Fi allowed, which helps access academic resources and online training. 
  • Electricity supply is provided for students 24/7 without any interruption. 
  • The attached rooms are available for selective types of rooms. 
  • Students are provided with other amenities like common rooms with TVs, study rooms, indoor sports, laundry services, a gym, and mess facilities offering vegetarian meals, medical services, and more.

Sastra University Hostel Application Process:

  • Students may also apply to seek hostel accommodation while being admitted to the institution. 
  • The admission application form includes an option to seek a hostel. Again, because of seat availability, the application is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • The allotment of hostel rooms is based on two key factors: the availability of the hostel room and the student's preference. 
  • This process helps ensure fair and efficient room allocation.
