P R Engineering College Admission

PR Engineering College is located in Thanjavur. It was founded in 2000 and is connected with Anna University. The Tamilnadu government and the AICTE approve it. PREC, Thanjavur, provides eight courses in two streams: engineering and information technology, and three degrees: B.Tech, MCA, and M.Tech. NAAC accredits PR College with an A Grade. PR college will offer admission to eligible students based on their academic merit and entrance exam score. The final seat allocation takes place through the counselling phases.

P R Engineering College B Tech Admission
P R Engineering College provides admission to the UG program BE/B Tech. Six specializations are available in BE/B Tech. The intake for each branch is 60 seats, and the course duration will be for four years.

• Admission to the B Tech at PREC College is based on TNEA Merit Rank. Students who have acquired a least 50% marks in 10+2 PCM subjects are eligible to apply for admission.
• At first, students must register for TNEA Counseling based on their 12th score. Later, Anna University will release the TNEA merit list by considering the marks of 12th PCM subjects.

P R Engineering College M Tech Admission
M Tech degree at PREC is available in one specialization. The specializations include a communication system

• Candidates who have obtained above 50% marks can seek admission to M Tech at PREC.
• In addition to this, they must also clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET.
• Thus, students have to register online for an entrance exam. After performing well in an exam, qualified candidates have to attend the TANCET Counselling.

P R Engineering College Application Process
The mode of the PR College application process is online. Students who are willing to apply for B Tech or M Tech admission at PR College must satisfy the minimum eligibility and cut off norms defined by the college.

• To apply for B Tech admission, applicants are required to participate in TNEA Counselling. Thus, applicants must register for TNEA and fill the application form by paying the stipulated fees, which cost INR 500.

For M Tech admission in PR College, students must apply through TANCET Counselling. At first, students have to register for the TANCET entrance test via online.
