Star Lion College of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2010. The college is associated with Anna University, and AICTE approves the technical courses. Currently, Star Lion college offers admission to the UG and PG courses in Engineering & Technology streams. At the UG level, it offers BE/B Tech, and at the PG level, it provides ME/M Tech. Star Lion College of Engineering and Technology provides admission to the UG program BE/B Tech. The five specializations are available in BE/B Tech.

• Admission to the B Tech at SLCET College is based on TNEA Merit Rank followed by the TNEA Counselling norms. Anna University will release the TNEA rank or merit list based on 10+2 Marks.
• At first, students must register for TNEA Counseling based on their 12th score. Later, Anna University will publish the TNEA Merit list.
• In addition, candidates must score above 50% marks at 10+2 level in science streams.

Star Lion College of Engineering and Technology M Tech Admission

M Tech degree at SLCET College is available in two core specializations. The annual intake capacity for M Tech is 18 seats. The specializations are Manufacturing, Structural Engineering.

• B Tech graduates who have obtained more than 50% marks can seek admission to the M Tech at SLCET.
• In addition, they must clear the state level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University will conduct the TANCET.
• Thus, students have to register for an entrance exam and perform well as equivalent to the minimum cut off criteria set by SLCET College.

Star Lion College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

Counseling is used to admit students from the government quota, and it fills 65 percent of the seats. Management quotas are used to fill the remaining seats. TNEA and TANCET are used to determine admission to BE programmes, and TANCET is used to determine entrance to ME programmes.
