Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BAIT) hostels are Well furnished for both gents and ladies. The rooms are available for triple, double, and single occupancy. Also, separate guest rooms are available. The living rooms are built with an aesthetic layout, containing a wardrobe & storage space. The dining halls with a seating capacity of 4100 pupils are available. A highly modernized kitchen, cold storage, and a dishwasher form part of residential functions that are well-planned and equipped with servicing counters.

Boys hostel has six blocks: Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Coral, and Pearl.
- Sapphire Block: Total of 282 sharing rooms for 4 sharing.
- Emerald block: 284 rooms for 4 sharing.
- Ruby block: 68 four-sharing, 24 single, and 145 double sharing rooms.
- Diamond block: 34 single and 146- 2 sharing rooms.
- Coral block: 51 rooms, Single and double.
- Pearl: 138 four-bedded rooms and 33 double-bedded rooms. In total, 3897 members can accommodate 1206 rooms.
Female Hostel: The seven blocks of BAIT female hostel are Cauvery, Ganga, Yamuna, Narmadha, North Bhavani, South Bhavani, and Old Bhavani.
- Ganga has 124 four-bedded rooms and 8 double bedded rooms.
- Yamuna has 93 four-bedded rooms and 6 double bedded rooms.
- Narmadha is the only block with 8 five-bedded rooms, 96 four-bedded rooms, 16 double-bedded rooms, and 8 single-bedded rooms.
- Cauvery block 111 double-bedded rooms and 15 single-bedded rooms.
- North Bhavani and South Bhavani have a capacity of 64 four-bedded rooms, four double-bedded rooms and single-bedded four rooms, respectively.
- Old Bhavani has the specialty of 8 eight bedded rooms and 2 single bedded rooms.
- Thus, in total, the seven blocks can accommodate 2199 members in 639 rooms.
