Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Technology, called GNIET, was started in the city of Nagpur by GNES society in the year 2007. GNIET is among the best institutes affiliated under RTMNU and approved by AICTE and DTE, Maharashtra.

GNIET has an excellent platform for research where Lamar University from the USA for interacting with the faculties in the matter related to technology and science development. GNIET has also conducted research on water purification for removing the different types of metallic impurities. GNIET has also organized workshops on various matters like robotics which is internationally certified.
