RTMNU UG Eligibility

The university provides an undergraduate program in engineering, administration, law, the arts, and sciences, among other fields.

• For admission to UG courses at RTMNU, candidates are required to have completed the HSC (10+2) test from a recognized board of education with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST).
•  Candidates are chosen for admission at RTMNU based on their performance in the qualifying 10+2 exam.
• There are no entrance exams for the following courses at the university.
• Admission to RTMNU is determined by the student's performance on the qualifying exam.
• Interested candidates can apply for admission online through RTMNU's official website.
• Admission is made solely based on the university's merit list.
• Candidates interested in pursuing the UG program at RTMNU must apply through the university's official website.

RTMNU PG Eligibility

The university provides a variety of postgraduate courses in a variety of specializations through several departments and faculties.

•  The duration of all postgraduate courses is two years, and candidates are selected for different postgraduate courses based on their performance in the RTMNU'S admission exam.
• The university publishes a merit list based on candidates' achievements in the entrance exam.
• Candidates must first register on the university's website before filling out the RTMNU application form.
• For registration, applicants must have a valid email address and phone number.
• Notifications will also be sent to the provided mobile number and email address.

RTMNU PhD. Eligibility

The university provides a PhD program in various fields, including arts, commerce, science, engineering, medicine, and others.

• The research courses are open to candidates who have completed their post-Graduation in the relevant discipline.
• Candidates are chosen based on their achievement in the PET II (PhD Entrance Test) university entrance exams and their qualifying degree grades.
•  Candidates are shortlisted for M.Phil admission at RTMNU based on their grades in their undergraduate degree and the PET I Entrance Exam.
• Candidates must have earned a master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• A candidate's grade point average should be at least 50%.
• PET II, administered by RTMNU's respective departments, is used to determine admission to the university's Ph.D programs. The institution will publish a merit list of the shortlisted candidates on its official website.
• The exam is carried only once a year, in December.
• PET-I will be 90 minutes long and will comprise of 100 1-mark MCQs based on General Research Aptitude.
• Analytical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Language Competency/ Computer/ Environment/ Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation will be covered on the exam.

RTMNU Application Process

• Candidates must fill out the university application form for the courses they are interested in using the admission web portal found on the university's official website.
• RTMNU applications are paid for through the internet.
• Candidates should keep a copy of their application form and payment receipt for future reference.
• The completed application form must be printed and delivered to the university administration within the deadline.

For UG/PG:

• Application forms for UG/ program can be filled up online at the university's official website. However, candidates must first register on the website before applying online.
• When registering, candidates must have a color photograph, a valid email address, and a copy of their qualifying examination marksheet. Candidates must fill out the needed information and choose the registration option.
• Candidates will receive their user's name and password on their registered mobile number and email address after completing the registration process.
• Candidates can fill out the application form by logging in with the same user's name and password as before. Candidates must take a printout of the RTMNU application form after filling it out.

For Ph.D.:

• Application forms must be completed online at the Designated Agency's website and then mailed to the institution within the specified time frame.
• Completed applications should be mailed along with the required certifications and the examination fee in the form of a Demand Draft (DD).
• Payable in Nagpur, the DD shall be drawn in the name of "Registrar, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University."
