Gandhi Medical College Secunderabad

Gandhi Medical College was proposed in 1954 and was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, The president of India. This institute specializes in offering UG and PG programs in the medicinal field, and every year it takes in almost 200 students to the MBBS course.

• It was currently the first institute of post-gradual and doctoral education, which meets the needs of health care and medical services not just to Secundrabad and Hyderabad but also to the nearby districts and rural areas.
• It is recognized by the Medical Council of India and has a Gandhi hospital attached with 1200 beds, 80,000 consultations of outpatients, and 42,000 patients.
• The courses have MBBS- 5 years course at an undergraduate level whereas MS and MD- 3 years and two years course respectively at the post-graduation level.
• Gandhi Medical College Hyderabad admissions are for the NEET qualified candidates. The NEET exam is conducted in May month to start after the counseling at the national level.
