Narayana Medical College is a college with a threefold mission for education, research, and service. Institute was started in the year 2000, which is affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. The university offers medicine degrees and a learning environment along with discovery education of medical professionals, health sciences in research, and comprehensive medical care.

It is an institute effort to deliver the maximum modern health education and establishment of medical facilities and medical teaching hospitals adapted to the state of the university. Six conference rooms with 300 seats and 1 with a capacity for 650 people situated in the medical institute and hospital building there is one conference room with 300 people.

There are two laboratories and six joint laboratories in the medical institute. Each department has four projection rooms with a capacity of about 90 students. Narayana Medical College is NAAC ‘A’ college.

  • Narayana Teaching hospital is situated on the medical institute campus. Nearly 240 service beds are available in Narayana General Hospital and around 160 beds in Narayana Super Speciality Hospital.
  • Narayana Medical College offers MBBS under the UG program with a 4 ½ year course duration with a one-year internship. MBBS fee in NRC is INR 40K approximately with an annual intake of 250 students.
  • Narayana Medical College offers MD and MS courses under the PG program with three years course period. Per annum, the MD/MS fee structure in NMC is INR 1.70L. For three years, the course fee is INR 5.10 lakhs. Super-specialty courses like DM and M.Ch are offered with a total cost of INR 22.50L for an entire three years course.
  • Residential blocks (hostels) are provided for girls & boys, the building is built in ultra-modern, and the hostel fee in Narayana Medical College is INR 70K annually.

I am pursuing MBBS Course and right now am in final year. To confess about fee structure it is actually quite nominal for the students who gets admission through entrance exam and for management quota admission fee is high. Infrastructure and academic facilities are actually nice and also our teaching faculties are helpful in all the aspects and they offer us best teaching through innovative methodologies. Since it is the medical domain we have job opportunities from government sectors and there will be 1 year internship after the completion of four years for the practical learning purpose. Overall I can say it is good college for pursuing MBBS course.
