Deccan College of Medical Sciences (DCMS) in Hyderabad, Telangana, is approved by MCI and is affiliated with NTRUHS. The college provides MBBS, MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. To get into the MBBS program, candidates need to have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Deccan Medical College offers a five-year MBBS. It has Pre and Para Clinical departments with 8 specializations and Clinical Departments featuring 13 specializations. To get a spot in this medical journey, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or an equivalent examination with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology. The specific percentages are 50% for the General category, 45% for the General-PH category, and 40% for the SC/ST/OBC categories.

The admission is through NEET-UG. It's not just about 10+2  grades; your performance in NEET-UG determines if you're in or out. Only Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) can apply for the MBBS course. You need to be at least 17 years old by the 31st of December of the admission year and not more than 25 years old (for the General category) or 30 years old for reserved categories. Preference is given to Muslim candidates.
