Guntur Medical College

The Guntur Medical College, popularly known as GMC, was founded in 1946. It is an autonomous medical institute in the Guntur location, Andhra Pradesh. GMC is a member of the NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS). The college is at the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences affiliates. It works with the Government General Hospital, an 1170 bed tertiary hospital that addresses society's people in the coastal areas of AP. Among few centers in the country, GMC is one with satellite training. A new complex with super specialties Podila Prasad - the GMCANA center for extraordinary things and traumas with the most modern facilities is being completed in the general government hospital to meet the growing public health needs.

• The institute offers introductory UG courses and offers various medical PG specialties like paramedical & non-medical courses.
• GMC offers UG MBBS course with 200 student intakes, PG courses such as MD, MS, DPH, DCH, DCP, DA, DGO, DMRD, DLO, DTCD, DO, DPM, DDVL with a total intake of 98 students, Super specialty course DM with two inputs and M.Ch with six information and other Paramedical courses are offered like B.Sc. and diploma courses.
