Course details-

Department of Management Studies MBA Course-

The Master of Business Administration is a full-time course of 2 years duration with 4 semesters. The course structure is designed as per the management concepts and techniques required in the industrial sectors. The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any field from a national/recognized university with a 50% minimum aggregate.

MBA Specialization-

Department of Management Studies Ph.D. course-

The candidates must have both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from national/recognized institutes with a 50% minimum aggregate. The students are provided with research opportunities in various fields to improve creativity, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

DOMS, IIT Roorkee MBA Admission

Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee (DOMS) offers a two-year MBA programme in dual specializations in any of the two following streams.

• Finance Management
• Human Resource Management
• Marketing Management
• Information System
• Operations Management

DOMS, IIT Roorkee MBA Eligibility/Selection Criteria

Candidates who meet the following qualifying requirements can apply for DOMS IIT Roorkee's MBA Admission. The annual intake for MBA at DOMS is 95 seats.

• Candidates must hold a recognized UG Degree in any field with a minimum of 60% (In case of SC/ST/PWD, 5% relaxation is applicable)
• Final year degree pursuing students can even apply for admission in DOMS IIT. Such candidates will be admitted provisionally. To be eligible for the final admission process, they must satisfy all the eligibility terms defined by the college.
• The selection of the candidates depends on CAT valid percentile. Candidates must score equivalent to the DOMS IIT CAT cut off percentile.
• Thus applicants have to undertake a national level entrance test that is CAT, which IIMs administrate.
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT scores. Shortlisted listed candidates will be invited to attend the Interview session for the further selection process.
• The DOMS IIT Roorkee MBA Merit list will be prepared by considering the factors of CAT Score, Personal interview and work experience. Students whose names are included in the merit list can secure admission in DOMS.
• Additionally, candidates must have work experience to be eligible for securing admission seats.
• IIT graduates will be admitted through JEE Advanced or JEE Main score must have obtained CGPA 7 above in their graduation; on the other hand, they will be exempted from the CAT requirement. Such candidates will be shortlisted, and in addition, they have to attend a personal interview.

DOMS PhD Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• To be eligible for PhD admission in DOMS IIT Roorkee, candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant stream with at least 85 per cent marks.
• GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET scores are used to determine admission to DOMS IIT Roorkee for PhD programmes.
• Students will be shortlisted based on the entrance test scores. Shortlisted students have to attend the interview process.

• The qualifying entrance test score and Personal interview performance are used to determine final admission.
