The University of Delhi is accepting applications for UG programs. DU has started the UG admission portal called the "Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)," which begins the first phase of admissions. This year, one extra seat in every course will be reserved for a single girl child.

Delhi University UG Eligibility 2024

The University of Delhi (DU) has some basic requirements you need to meet to apply for admission in 2024. While some DU-affiliated colleges might have additional requirements, these are the general ones:

• You must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. The exact marks required depend on the course you want.
• You need to take and pass the CUET UG exam.
• There is usually no age limit for DU undergraduate programs. However, some professional courses might have an age limit set by other bodies.

Delhi University UG Admission Process 2024

The University of Delhi is now accepting applications for its undergraduate programs that start in the fall of 2024. If you took the CUET 2024 exam, you can apply through their new online system called the DU CSAS Portal. Here is how to register:

• Go to the official website.
• Click on the tab that says " Delhi University New registration 2024?" This will create a login for the DU CSAS Portal.
• You will need your CUET 2024 application number, your date of birth as listed on your CUET application, and a verification code displayed on the screen.
• Once you have created your account, you can log in using the username and password you just made.
• Take a moment to read the instructions carefully before filling out the application form.
• The website will now show you the application form.
• Fill in all the details they ask for, including personal information, academic details, any sports or extracurricular activities you participate in, and upload any required documents. There is also a preview option to make sure everything looks good before submitting.
• Once you have reviewed your application and everything is correct, submit the form and pay the application fee.

Delhi University Seat Allocation 2024

Applying to Delhi University involves two main steps after registering through the CSAS Portal.

• The first step happens after the CUET results are released. You will be able to log back into the portal and choose the specific colleges and programs you would like to attend, ranking them in order of preference.
• The second step involves seat allocation and admissions. The University will consider your CUET score and your college/course preferences to assign you a seat.
• You can then check the CSAS portal to see which program and college you have been assigned to. This portal will also show the cut-off scores required for different programs at different colleges
• After you receive your assigned seat, the college will verify your eligibility and documents to ensure you meet their program requirements and your application details are accurate.
• There is also a window before the final admissions list is announced where you can try to get into a higher-ranked college/program on your list.
• If you are successful, your current seat will be canceled. You can also change the order of your preferences during this time.
• But remember, if you get upgraded, it is crucial to accept and complete the admission process for the new seat. Otherwise, you will lose both options and be excluded from admissions altogether.
