Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, commonly known as BVMC, is located in the southern region of the city Pune, Maharashtra. The institution was established in February 1989. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College MBBS admission

MBBS is the flagship course of BVMC Pune. The course offered has a full-time nature and duration of 5 years along with 1 year of the rotatory internship program. Admission to the MBBS course at BVMC is done through the entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria for MBBS admission at BVMC are mentioned below.

• The candidates applying for the course must have completed their 10+2 or any HSC equivalent board examination.
• At the 10+2 level, the main subjects are required to be Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in all subjects added together.
• If a candidate belongs in the OBC category, the minimum aggregate marks would be 45%.
• For the SC and ST category candidates, the minimum marks would be set as 40%.

MBBS Selection Procedure in BVMC Pune

• Generally, BVMC will grant MBBS admission to the students based on NEET scores.
• Candidates who have qualified in NEET have to register for counselling as a primary step. The counselling will be administrated by DGHS/Maharashtra State level counselling authority.
• Candidates who satisfy the Bharati Vidyapeeth MBBS Cut off criteria will secure seats during the counselling/seat allotment process.
• During counselling, candidates must choose their preference "BVMC". If students' NEET rank meets the cut off criteria, they will be able to secure MBBS seats via counselling.
• 85% of seats are reserved for the state quota. And remaining 15% of seats are reserved for AIQ. For 85% of seats, DGHS will conduct the counselling at the State level. For 15% seats MCC will conduct counselling at the National level.

The PG courses at BVMC are offered under 2 different specializations - Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Masters of Surgery (MS). The MD courses at BVMC are offered under 17 different specializations, and the MS course at BVMC is offered under 6 different specializations.

• The applicants willing to take admission in the MD/MS courses at BVMC should appear in the national level entrance exam NEET PG.
• To be eligible for admission, the applicants must have completed their MBBS degree program from any university which got its approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
