There is provision of only one mode of entry into the MBBS course i.e. NEET UG 2026 results based on Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026 followed. Candidates must secure minimum scores required for NEET UG followed by participating in the common counselling process. MBBS course is for 5.5 years’ total study period: 4 years of academic study and one-year internship that is mandatory. Admission in Top Government Medical Colleges in Maharashtra is quite hard. Eligibility - MBBS

Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College is a government institution which offers MBBS course with affordable fees structure. Admissions are offered through entrance examinations and hence aspirants must appear for NEET entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted. Candidates can fill the application form online through NEET official website; fee can be paid online through e-wallet, credit/debit or net banking. Fee for general/OBC is 1,500 and for SC/ST it is 800. Basic eligibility for admission is that student must have completed 10+2 with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
