Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, popularly known as MIMER, is one of India's prestigious private medical colleges. It was established in 1994, located in Pune, Maharashtra. MIMER Pune is now affiliated under the state-university  Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Nashik and approved under the Medical Council of India (MCI). The institution has been accredited with a grade "A" by NAAC. The institution was established to cover the gap of society and provide the aim of offering students great medical education facilities. The institution offers MBBS courses with an intake of 150 students per year and MD/MS courses with 35 students per year. MIMER Pune has been associated with the renowned Talegaon General Hospital. The hospital laid its foundation in 1925, and Dr. B. S. alias Bhausaheb Sardesai did it. The hospital was later renamed the Dr. Bhausaheb Sardesai Talegaon Hospital.

MIMER Pune MD/MS admission

• MIMER Pune provides MD/MS PG degree courses in Medical Studies. The duration of the PG courses at MIMER Pune is 3 academic years.

• The MS course at  MIMER Pune is offered under 6 different streams, and the MD course at MIMER is provided under 11 different streams. The total intake in the PG course at MIMER Pune is 35.

• The admission to the MD or MS at MIMER Pune will be granted based on the NEET PG Entrance Test.
