Andhra Medical College is said to be the college of Medical studies in the state of Andhra Pradesh as well as in India. This institute was started on the 19^th of July 1923; it attained national attention for being the center of medical education.

• The hospital named King George Hospital is associated with the medical college and other local hospitals, namely Government Chest Hospital, Regional Eye Hospital, government ENT, etc.
• AMC College is having 1000+ teaching beds and is having a unitary campus on 25 acres of land. The college has an AC central library, six lecturer rooms, an auditorium, a rural health center, and a resident for faculty, interns, and seniors.
• Andhra Medical College admissions are given to 250 Under-graduates, ten super-specialty, and 212 post-graduates. Apart from these courses, there are other Para-medical courses and healthcare-related programs.
• All the courses are offered under the affiliation of Dr. NTR Health University. They have been recognized nationally not just for academic excellence but also in cultural activities and sport.
• Andhra Medical College courses at bachelor level are MBBS, and at master level, there are courses like MD and MS. At the diploma level, there is a diploma as well as a PG diploma course.
• Andhra Medical College's fee structure is all decided by the government rules as it falls under the government organization. MBBS fee in AMC per person for a year will be INR 55,300, MD & MS fees will be INR 10,000 per annum.
• THE NEET UG score will be considered for the MBBS course and the NEET-PG score for MD, MS, and DM admissions.
