AIM has been approved by the UGC, New Delhi and the government of Tamil Nadu for its MBA program. In addition to the master's program in business administration, master's and doctorate degrees in administration are also offered. Students complete a full-time 2 year course through rigorous live projects, quizzes, student-led events, tests and challenging assignments for all dynamic environments.

• The teaching methodology includes lectures, tutorials, cases, mentoring, seminars, mini projects, group discussions, games and business exercises, structures work, unstructured group work, site visits, Individual and group projects and Viva Integral (CV).
• The institute was honoured as one of the 100 best business schools in India. The student force of the institute is sixty per stream (sanctioned). The institute offers the largest number of electives per semester of all the universities.
• The library area is 2012sq.m with a capacity for more than 200 people and more. Stocks in the library include a lakh of printed volume books, 149 printed journals, 492 non-book materials and 1,446 volumes of printed editions. There is also access to more than 6,242 online journal numbers and 1.31,000 or more electronic theses. The type of access is Open Access.

 The placement cell works throughout the year to facilitate connections between organizations and graduates. Employees are available to answer questions and concerns of students of all types.
