GTBIT, New Delhi B.Tech Admissions:

The Institute has been offering an Engineering program at the undergraduate level for the students since its inception. The B.Tech program has four specializations held for a four-year duration. The Intake for ECE, CSE, and IT is 120 students every year, and EEE is 60 students each year.

The basic eligibility for applying to the B.Tech program is 10+2 in the Science stream with PCM as a compulsory subject with 55% marks from any well-known board. The selection process for B.Tech admission will be based on the marks obtained in the IPU CET exam held by the GGSIPU, New Delhi.

The Institute is also accepting Diploma Engineering and B.Sc. students for admission to B.Tech program from the 2nd year. The students will have to hold a valid score in the CET exam to get admission into the Institute.

My seat in this college was possible because of the entrance exam called as JEE Main. The score card was released after which I registered in the website of the IPU for taking Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology admission to the B.Tech course. After like 2 months i was schedule was out by the university regarding the admission and other choice filling process to get seat.

Admissions to GTBIT for B.Tech are made solely based on IPU-CET results. Only those candidates who meet the University's eligibility requirements are accepted. Applications are available online mode.


I want to take admission in the BTech course. So what are the eligibility criteria?

Students need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 55% aggregate in PCM to be eligible to apply for B.Tech. Admission at GTBIT for B.Tech is made based on merit in IPU-CET. Followed by counselling held by the university. Also, for Delhi Region Candidates, 85% of seats are reserved.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in PCM are eligible to B.Tech course. Applicants have to appear for CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the University or through JEE Mains can apply for the course. Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology admission to B.Tech will be based on the merit/rank in the CET or JEE Main score basis. Candidates will register for respective entrance exam counselling for selection purpose.

Candidates to take direct admissions to Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology for B.Tech course need to meet basic eligibility like pass in class 10+2 from science stream with not less than 50% marks. Based on basic eligibility seats will be offered.


Mains rank is 5,68,000. Will I get admission here

Hi,

  • The admissions for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering will be done on the basis of rank scored in state level entrance exams like IPU CET.
  • The candidates having 55% aggregate in 10+2 from recognized board with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as mandatory subjects.
  • The fee for B.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is INR 4.11 Lakhs.

Hi, direct admission to the institute is possible but there are basic criteria like candidate must have cleared all subjects of 10+2 and should have been appeared for national level entrance exams.

Hi,

  • The minimum eligibility to get admission for B.Tech is 10+2 in PCM with an aggregate of 55% and also English as study subject.
  • The admission is done through Merit or Rank in Common Entrance Test (CET).
  • The Institute reserves 85% of total seats for the Delhi students and one must not be above 21 years to get admission into the Institute.
