By DTTE G.B. Pant Govt. Engineering College, Delhi, was established in 2007. It is affiliated with GGSIU and is AICTE-approved. - The B.Tech program has three specializations. The college also accepts lateral entry admissions directly to the second year. The college also offers a part-time B.Tech program for working candidates.
- Eligibility for B.Tech is to pass 10+2 level or intermediate with PCM. GB Pant Govt. Engineering College admission to B.Tech will be based on entrance exams like JEE Main or CET conducted by IP University. Selection of candidates will be made through GBPEC cut-off followed by counseling.
- BE/B.A Tech degree in a relevant discipline is the eligibility required for M.Tech. Candidates need to appear for GATE to take admission for GBPEC. Through cut-off put up by the institute and candidates' score selection process will be held.
- The college reserves 85 percent of its total seats for students from the Delhi region. 15% of the total seats are reserved for candidates outside the Delhi region.

Class of 2021
When I took admission the college conducted its own CET which I wrote and based upon that marks I had got in CET they selected me for the course. Presently the college takes admission through JEE Mains. We have to firstly fill in the application form that is for the GGSIPU and for that it will cost around INR 1000. Than participate in the counselling commonly held for which again I paid rupees 1000 as counselling fees. In this we have to give our choice in the online portal and the result of the college we have got will be displayed based on the marks we have got. If we like the college we have got than we freeze the seat.
