• The B.Tech program has three specializations. The college also accepts lateral entry admissions directly to the second year. The college also offers a part-time B.Tech program for working candidates.
• Eligibility for B.Tech is to pass 10+2 level or intermediate with PCM. GB Pant Govt. Engineering College admission to B.Tech will be based on entrance exams like JEE Main or CET conducted by IP University. Selection of candidates will be made through GBPEC cut-off followed by counseling.
• BE/B.A Tech degree in a relevant discipline is the eligibility required for M.Tech. Candidates need to appear for GATE to take admission for GBPEC. Through cut-off put up by the institute and candidates' score selection process will be held.
• The college reserves 85 percent of its total seats for students from the Delhi region. 15% of the total seats are reserved for candidates outside the Delhi region.
