The University of Kashmir founded the Directorate of Distance Education to deliver education across various disciplines through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) approach. This division has provided many academic courses and programs and engaged in various initiatives.

Kashmir University Distance Education B.Ed Admission

The institution provides a two-year B.Ed course with a maximum enrollment capacity of 3600 students. The students must be bachelor's degree holders with a min of 45% average marks (40% for reserved category). The procedure for assessing is centralized. However, the Directorate is empowered to conduct internal assessment examinations, usually done after the contact program, constituting 20% of the course grade.

Kashmir University Distance Education B.Ed Result

Kashmir University's Distance B.Ed Exam is conducted to assess the knowledge and understanding of students in their respective courses. These exams are held at the end of each semester to evaluate students' academic progress and performance.

Kashmir University Distance Education PG Admission

The University offers PG distance courses such as MA, MSc, and MCom. All the courses are of 2-year duration. The limit of applicants in each class is 200. A graduation degree is the primary qualifying requirement for Admission to PG programs. The total credits for the 4 semesters of the master's course is 96. Candidates are designated based on their qualifications and performance in the qualifying exam.

Kashmir University Distance Education Diploma Admission

The intake capacity for these diploma courses is set at 100 students, except for the Diploma in Urdu Journalism (DUJ), which has a total of 30 students, and the Diploma in Cyber Law and PGD in Cyber Law and Professional Practices (DCLP) which can accommodate 50 students.
