Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Admission

Deenabandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology (DCRUST) was formally established as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering (CRSCE) in Murthal in 1987. DCRUST is a State University that has been incepted in the State of Haryana for offering high-quality education. The University currently has an affiliation with UGC, New Delhi.

The University is currently offering programs at UG, PG, and Research levels in Science, Arts, Technology, Architecture, etc.

• The University offers the B.Tech program in full-time as well as part-time format.
• The students with basic 12th or equivalent basic eligibility with Physics & Mathematics subjects can apply for the B.Tech program.
• Students seeking admission to B.Arch will have to pass 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics subjects with 50% marks from a well-recognized university.
• Admission to B.Tech program is made through JEE Main, and to B.Arch is done through NATA.
• Basic eligibility for Integrated M.Sc. and MBA program is 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks.
• Admission to Integrated M.Sc. and MBA is through a university entrance test.
• Students must have cleared B.Tech degree in the applicable stream with at least 50% marks.
• M.Sc. program needs basic eligibility of B.Sc. with related subjects with at least 50% marks from a well-recognized university.
• M.Tech program admission will be based on a GATE score, and for M.Sc. is an entrance test conducted by the University.
• Students applying for other Master's degree programs must have basic eligibility for a Bachelors's degree in the applicable stream with minimum marks from a well-recognized university.
• The students will be selected for admission based on merit in the qualifying exam or the University’s entrance test.

DCRUST B.Tech Admissions:

The university offers an Engineering program at the undergraduate level for students with six specializations. The Students must have basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics & Physics subjects with minimum marks from a well-recognized board. The students will be selected for the admission process based on the marks obtained in JEE Main exam. 

DCRUST B.Tech Cut Off:

DCRUST B.Arch Admissions:

The University is providing an Architecture program at the undergraduate level for the students with basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks or 10+3 Diploma with at least 50% marks or an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks from a well-recognized body. The students will be selected for admission based on marks obtained in the NATA exam.

DCRUST BBA + MBA Admissions:

The University has offered THE Integrated BBA+ MBA program for five years. The students must have a primary education of 10+2or equivalent with at least 50% marks from Haryana or Central Education Board. The students will be allotted seats in BBA + MBA Integrated program based on their performance in University’s Entrance test.

DCRUST B.Sc. (Hons) + M.Sc. Admissions:

The University is offering B.Sc. (Hons) + M.Sc. Integrated program for five years. The students need basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent with PCM/B subjects with 50% marks from Haryana or the Central Education board. The admission process will be carried out based on the marks obtained on the university entrance test.

DCRUST M.Tech Admissions:

The University offers an engineering program for two years with 14 specializations. The students will have to hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or a master's degree in science or equivalent in applicable disciplines with at least 50% marks. The university's selection process is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University or the scores obtained in the GATE exam.

DCRUST M.Sc. Admissions:

The students with a bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent in applicable discipline with at least 50% marks from a well-recognized university are eligible for the M.Sc. program. The students will be selected for admissions based on their university entrance exam performance.

DCRUST PGD, M.Plan, M.Arch, MBA and MA Admissions:

The university offers other master's degree programs such as MA in English, MBA, MHA,  M.Arch in Sustainable Architecture, M.Plan, and PGD in Forensic Biotechnology. The students applying for the programs mentioned above will have to hold a bachelor’s degree in the applicable stream.

The selection process for MBA is through University’s entrance test score or CMAT score, followed by a counseling round.

Another program admission will be based on merit in the qualifying exam.

DCRUST Application Process:

The students seeking admission to DCRUST will have to apply and visit the University's website. The Application form has to be filled with all the details. A scanned copy of the student’s Photograph and Signature has to be uploaded when submitting the application form.

Application Fee of INR 1000/- has to be paid by the students through Debit or Credit card or Net Banking. The students will receive registration numbers and login password, which has to be kept by the students for further reference.

DCRUST Reservation Policy:

The University has reserved 1 seat for the Supernumerary quota for a single girl child in all UGC programs. 5% of the seats will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants. Four Seats are reserved for Residents of the Murthal Category.
