Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College is One of the reputed Ayurvedic colleges established in Bangalore, Karnataka. This college is popular as AAMC and was founded in the year 2005. Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Human Sciences and is also approved by the Central council of Medicine sciences. In addition, CCIM accredits Atreya College. In 2018, Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre was renowned as India’s ‘Best Medical College & Hospital for Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery’ at World Education Summit by Worldwide Achievers.

  • AAMC offers a BAMS UG degree, which the Central Council of Indian Medicine recognizes. BAMS program in AAMC is for five years and six months, including the internship program. 
  • The seat reservation in AAMC is made on an 85:15 ratio, i.e., 85% of the seats are dependent on merit/state quota, and the remaining 15% is for management quota seats. 
  • The admission criteria in AAMC are based on the NEET UG entrance exam.
  • AAMC is allied with Atreya Hospital, which has 100 beds. Besides, there is a herbal garden, pharmacy, canteen, and other facilities required for Ayurvedic Treatment as per the regulations of the statutory body.

BAMS admissions in AAMC

  • Candidates seeking BAMS admission to Atreya Medical College must have cleared NEET Entrance Exam with a valid score equivalent to or above the Atreya College BAMS Cut off standards.
  • To be eligible for undertaking NEET Exam, candidates must have qualified in the 10+2 science stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • They shall have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as a mandatory subjects in 10+2.
  • The seat allotment process in BAMS will be done through counseling. Following the announcement of NEET Results, students need to register for Ayush NEET Counselling.
  • Then, the authority will display the NEET Merit List. By calculating their NEET score, candidates will be assigned a NEET rank through the merit list.
  • If the candidate’s NEET merit rank is equivalent to the Atreya Medical College BAMS Cut off, there is a high chance of securing a BAMS seat in AAMC.

Atreya Medical College NEET Cut-off for BAMS

The selection board prescribes the minimum cut-off score for the admissions, and then a merit list will be prepared. The qualified students must score par or above the cut-off score to get seats in AAMC.  

The candidates need to score a minimum percentile of up to 50% in the NEET exam for general candidates. For SC/ST candidates, the accepted minimum percentage in the NEET entrance exam is 40%.

Ayush NEET Counselling process

  • Registration: Students must register for the Ayush NEET Counselling process.
  • Making the preference and locking: Students must pick their preferences about college, course, and other details while registering.
  • Seat allotment result: After the counseling rounds are done, the seat allotment results will be out
