Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre, Chennai is a private Ayurveda college started in 2001 under the Sapthagiri Educational Trust. The college is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College BAMS Admission 2026

The admission to BAMS course will be done through NEET UG 2026 examination followed by Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling. Candidates must qualify NEET UG and participate in the centralized counselling process. The BAMS course consists of 5.5 years, including one-year compulsory rotatory internship.

Eligibility – BAMS

  • Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • General category candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in PCB.
  • Reserved category candidates require a minimum of 40% marks in PCB.
  • Completion of 17 years of age before or on 31 December 2026.
  • Must qualify NEET UG 2026.

Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre Admission criteria for Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery includes: The candidate should have passed their 10+2 or an equivalent qualification in science stream, having taken physics, chemistry and biology as their main subjects with a min. aggregate of 50% marks. The candidate should also appear for the entrance test such as NEET-UG. The score secured in the test will ensure the candidates into the college. Candidates are selected based on the only two criteria’s . The selected candidates are done so via counseling or if directly applied to college then through the selection list displayed on the college notice board.
