Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre, Chennai is a private Ayurveda college started in 2001 under the Sapthagiri Educational Trust. The college is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It boasts one of the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospitals in Tamil Nadu with modern facilities, Panchakarma amenities, herbal gardens, research labs, and clinical training.
Admission into the BAMS course is through NEET UG 2026 and Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling. The institute has a sanctioned intake of 50 BAMS seats annually.

Sri Sai Ram Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre Admission criteria for Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery includes: The candidate should have passed their 10+2 or an equivalent qualification in science stream, having taken physics, chemistry and biology as their main subjects with a min. aggregate of 50% marks. The candidate should also appear for the entrance test such as NEET-UG. The score secured in the test will ensure the candidates into the college. Candidates are selected based on the only two criteria’s . The selected candidates are done so via counseling or if directly applied to college then through the selection list displayed on the college notice board.
