SNAP Exam Dates 2017 - 2018 for the December session has been released. SNAP is referred as Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a university level examination which is regulated by Symbiosis University. SNAP exam is mandatory for those candidates who are seeking admission in Management courses (MBA) offered by associated institutions of Symbiosis International University.

SNAP 2017 - 2018 : Important Dates

  • The Application form for SNAP Exam will be released in the month of August 2017.
  • Final submission of the Application form without late Fee will be in the month of November 2017.
  • Final submission of the Application form with late Fee will be in the month of November 2017.
  • Downloading of Admit Card will be on the first week of December 2017.
  • Examination Date i.e., Paper Based Test (offline) will be in the month of December 2017.
  • SNAP Result will be declared in the month of January 2018.

Registration for SNAP 2017 - 2018

  • The candidate who is willing to apply for SNAP can visit the official website and register themselves by filling the details and it will be released in the month of August 2017.
  • For SNAP 2017, The Registration fee will be of Rs 1500.
  • SNAP 2017 Aspirants are required to upload their latest scanned colored photograph at the time of registration.
  • After filling the Application Form and Payment Details, the candidate needs to take the print out of the application and also send along with the challan or DD.

Eligibility Criteria for SNAP 2017 - 2018

  • The candidates must hold graduation from any recognized university with min. of 50%marks and for SC/ST candidates it is 45%.
  • If the aspirants have cleared their qualifying exam from Foreign University, They should obtain an equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
  • NRI (Non Resident Indian) and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) candidates are also eligible to apply.

SNAP 2017 - 2018 Exam Pattern

Exam Date: DECEMBER 2017

Mode: offline – Pen and Paper based Test (Blue or Black pen).

No. of Questions: SNAP Question paper consists of 150 objective type questions.

Total Duration: SNAP exam will be two hours (120 minutes).

FORMAT

  • SNAP question paper contains total 150 objective type questions.
  • SNAP 2017 - 2018 paper consists of 4 sections: General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
  • For General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning, the allotted marks will be 40 each. But in the General Awareness section, the allotted marks will be 30. The total mark is 150.
  • Each question consists of 4 optional answers; the candidates have to choose the right answer.
  • Each correct response will be carry 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer will lead to 25% negative marks.

SNAP Admit Card 2017 - 2018

  • SNAP Admit card will be released on the first week of December 2017.
  • The candidates can download their SNAP admit card via online mode.
  • Candidates are required to get their Hall Ticket with photo identity proof on the date of their examination.

SNAP Result 2017 - 2018

  • SNAP Result will be published in the month of January 2018.
  • SNAP Aspirants can access their result via online mode through the website.
  • To check the SNAP result, the aspirants need to enter their respective roll number& other required details.
  • After the Result Declaration, the candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test on the basis of SNAP Score.

Weightage for Final merit list for SNAP

  • For SNAP Score out of 180 marks scaled down to 50 marks.
  • For Group Exercise (GE), it is 10 marks.
  • For Personal Interaction (PI), it is 30 marks.
  • For Writing Ability Test (WAT), it is 10 marks.
  • The total mark carries is 100.

SNAP 2017 - 2018 Admission Procedure

  • SNAP 2017 - 2018 Admission procedure consists of 3 stages.
  • GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test).
  • After all these stages, a final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in SNAP and GE-PIWAT and then it will be informed to students.
