RNS Institute of Technology was established in the year 2001 as a private educational institute. It is shortly popular as BCE with VTU affiliation. BCE is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade with AICTE approval. BCE offers UG courses like BE/ B-Tech, and PG courses like ME/ M-Tech, MBA, and MCA courses. Candidates seeking admission at RNSIT must ensure the eligibility terms and RNS Institute Cut-off criteria defined by the admission authority. NIRF has ranked RNSIT as the 251 for its B-Tech program by NIRF for the year 2021. In addition, TOI has ranked RNSIT, Bangalore as 130 ranks for B-Tech performance for 2021.

To enrol in B Tech at RNSIT, candidates must have passed the 10+2 science stream with 45% marks. RNSIT Bangalore B Tech admission is based on the student's rank acquired in KCET or COMEDK.
The cut off for B Tech in RNSIT differs for each specialization & category. Also, the admission authority will release a separate cut off list for COMEDK as well KCET.
For RNSIT MBA Admission, KPGCET valid rank is accepted. In addition, candidates must hold a recognized bachelor degree with a minimum of 50% as qualifying marks.
