Presidency University PG Admission

  • For admissions to the PG degrees like M.Com, M.Sc., and MA admissions in Presidency University, aspirants must have completed their graduation degree in similar subjects. They can later apply for the postgrad level program. For these PG courses, an entrance exam is not required.

Presidency University, Bangalore Application Process 

Presidency University admission process follows the common procedure for UG and PG programs admissions. The mode of the Presidency application form filling process is online mode. Here are the below steps showing the proper steps to be followed by the applicants.   

  • Students are asked to visit the official website of the Presidency University, Bangalore. 
  • They will have to look for the application form link given on the website to fill in the form. 
  • They have to click on the “Apply Online” tab to enter all the necessary information.
  • Once the earlier education and personal details are entered in the form, the candidates must also put details about their course at Presidency University.
  • Lastly, they will have to upload the scanned copies of certificates and other documents log with photos and signatures.
  • The form submission becomes valid after making the Presidency University application fees payment of INR 1025/-. 

The selection criteria for Presidency University Admissions are as follows:

  • B-Tech admission to Presidency University is based on the scores secured in one of the main competitive entrance exams like JEE Main or KCET or COMED K or any other state-level entrance, which is continued with counseling rounds.
  • Candidates must have appeared for exams like CLAT or LSAT for LLB courses with official eligibility scores.
  • Like an MBA management course, a PG program is to have scored valid scores in CMAT, CAT, MAT, XMAT, or KPGCET. Further, the candidates will be followed selection process rounds like WAT, GD, and PI. 
  • Presidency University also provides Ph.D. degrees in different disciplines, and for its admission, they have to go through the research entrance test and interview selection.
  • To be qualified, the entrance exams are accepted for Ph.D. programs like CSIR NET, GATE, UGC NET, CEED, etc. The eligible candidates will have to appear for the interview round only.

Presidency University KCET Cut-off scores.

KCET is a state-level entrance exam in Karnataka. Here only the state residents are eligible to take up for the exam.

  • The KCET exam will be held offline, i.e., in the PBT method.
  • The medium of the exam is in English or Kannada. Here the exam duration is for 1 hour 20 mins.
  • KCET exam paper is divided into 3 papers Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, with the total value of each paper being 60 marks (180 total).
  • There is no negative marking, and for each right answer, it carries 1 mark.
  • Candidates willing to secure B Tech admission under the government quota at Presidency University must satisfy the cut-off norms prescribed by the admission authority.

Presidency University COMEDK Cut off

  • COMED-K full form is The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges for Karnataka state.
  • This will be conducted in the CBT method. Only eligible candidates from other than Karnataka states can take this entrance exam to get admission to Karnataka Private institutes.
  • The exam duration of the COMED-K entrance exam is for three hours, with a total of 180 questions.
  • One mark is rewarded for every right answer, and it does not have any negative marking for the wrong answer. 
  • Students meeting the cut-off marks for COMED-K UGCET will be eligible to seek seats in the participating institutes.

Some of the factors considered for evaluating the cut-off for COMED-K are the total number of students, the level of difficulty of the COMEDK exam, and seat availability in the participating colleges that are done by the conducting authority of the COMED-K exam.

Presidency University KPGCET Cut off for admission in MBA.

KPGCET is a state-level exam organized by KEA. The exam is conducted in paper mode for 2 hours (120 mins). For MBA admissions to Presidency University, Bangalore, students must attempt the KPGCET entrance test and score equivalent to the admission authority's cut-off criteria.
