JEE Mains 2022 Session 1 application form re-opens

From today, April 18, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has resumed registration for the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam. Students who have not applied for the JEE Main 2022 phase 1 exam can fill out IIT JEE Main forms 2022 online at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022. The deadline for NTA JEE Main 2022 session 1 applications is April 25. Registration, filling out the application form, submitting documents, and paying the application cost is all part of the JEE Main 2022 application procedure.

In light of the continued demand from the student community to re-open the Online Application Forms for JEE Main 2022 Session 1 and to support them, NTA has been decided to provide an opportunity for the remaining candidates to apply for JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1.

The deadline to apply is April 25 (9 p.m.), and candidates must pay the application fee by April 25 at 11:50 p.m. According to the new exam timetable, session one will take place from June 20 to 29, while session two will take place from July 21 to 30.

JEE Main 2022 Application Form Session 1

  • The registration fee for JEE Main 2022 may only be paid online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm services. The appropriate Bank/ Payment Gateway Integrator will charge the candidate processing fees and GST (if applicable) in addition to the examination fee.
  • In the future, NTA will not provide a rectification service for JEE Main 2022. As a result, students should properly fill out the JEE forms in 2022.
  • Students should double-check their photographs and signature before submitting the JEE Main 2022 application form. The application will be denied if the photograph or signature is indistinct or not visible enough to identify the candidate's identity. There will be no opportunity to modify or revise the application.

The JEE Main application form session for 2022 was formerly open from March 1 to April 5. Additionally, from April 6 to 8, registered candidates have access to the JEE Main 2022 application form editing window.

The NTA recently published the amended JEE Main 2022 exam dates for both sessions. The test dates for JEE Mains 2022 session 1 are June 20 to 29, 2022, and the exam dates for session 2 are July 21 to 30, 2022. The JEE Main 2022 session 2 registration date will be announced soon.

Students who completed class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2020, 2021 or who are scheduled to sit for class 12 board examinations in 2022 are eligible to enrol for JEE Main 2022. Applicants who pass JEE Main and place in the top 2.5 percent of their class will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022.

JEE Main 2022 will be held in English, Hindi, Kannada, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Odia and Urdu, among other regional languages.

Steps to fill JEE Main 2022 Application Form

On the website jeemain.nta.nic.in, interested applicants can apply for JEE Mains 2022. The steps for filling out the JEE Mains 2022 application form are outlined here.

Step 1: Go to the official website.

Step 2: Select JEE Main 2022 Registration from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: To complete the registration, fill in the essential information and click the "Submit" button.

Step 4: Candidates will be redirected to the page where they may fill out the detailed application form after completing the registration process. In this step, candidates must supply information about their educational qualifications, parents' information, communication and permanent addresses, and exam centre preferences.

Step 5: Scan passport-size photos and signatures and upload them.

Step 6: Make a payment for the application cost.

Step 7: Following the successful payment of application costs, the application form will be instantly submitted.

Candidates must print out the completed application form after downloading it. Candidates should keep the print copy of the application form safe until the admissions process is completed.

JEE Main 2022 Application Correction Window

The correction window remained open from April 6 to 8, despite NTA's earlier announcement that it would not be available in the JEE Main application form. Because the application procedure has been re-opened, it's likely that NTA will re-open the rectification window after the application process is completed.

JEE Main 2022 Registration of Session 2

The second session's application procedure will begin soon. Candidates who wish to take the JEE Main 2022 exam in April and May sessions must fill out separate application forms. JEE Main application form 2022 for session 2 is likely to open in the first week of May.

JEE Main 2022 Admit Card

In the second week of June, the NTA will release the admit card for the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam. On the official website, admit cards will be accessible for download. It contain information regarding the JEE Main 2022 exam day and time, the exam centre's address, and the applicants' basic information such as name, photo, signature, and exam day instructions.

Important changes put up in JEE Main 2022

  • Class 12 has had 75% of its criteria deleted.
  • The number of attempts has been lowered to two.
  • In numerical value questions, negative marking is used.
  • The time of the exam for PwD applicants has been increased to four hours.
  • Candidates will receive their results/scorecards through a mobile device.
