JEE Main 2021 January Exam Dates to be Announced Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shortly announce the dates for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) 2021. This engineering test is held twice a year once in January and in the month of April. On the other hand officially the details regarding exam pattern, registration process, syllabus and other information of entrance test will be published on the official site jeemain.nta.nic.in.

If the situation was normal without any pandemic NTA would have started registration for JEE Main by now as per last year information but due to COVID pandemic the exam schedule is been disrupted. Previous year NTA announced the exam dates for JEE Main in the month of August and the registration process started on September 2 for JEE Main 2021 January. This year as per schedule January session of the entrance test was held but due to covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown JEE Main April exam was delayed. Finally in the month of September NTA conducted JEE Main and announced the results within five days making a record.

  • During the 57th General Council Meeting of NCERT Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia suggested that the syllabus for JEE Main 2021 and NEET exams should be reduced and as per the reduced syllabus the exams will be held.
  • Because of on-going Corona crisis current academic session is seriously disturbed so as the syllabus for all the classes is been reduced to 50% of total syllabus.
  • The upcoming year’s JEE Main and NEET exams will also be conducted on basis of reduced syllabus.
  • There is still no move from National Testing Agency, or the Education Ministry to conduct JEE Main and NEET exams on basis of reduced syllabus. NTA is yet to announce JEE Main exam dates for 2021 batch.

Only if the syllabus is reduced a bit the exam pattern and other changes might have to be made else it remains the same. However, the eligibility and application process or exam process remains the same.
