JEE Advanced exam to be held on August 28, 2022

JEE advanced 2022 is a national-level entrance exam organized by IIT Bombay. This exam is intended for engineering aspirants. Every year the exam is conducted by IITs on a rotational basis. The seven Zonal coordinating IITs manage JEE Advanced under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). Based on the JEE Advanced scores, shall get admissions to Bachelor's, Master's, Integrated Master or Bachelor's Master's dual degree courses.

According to the latest update, JEE advanced 2022 registrations are open from August 07, 2022. The eligible candidates can register for the exam by visiting the official website of the exam. Read here for the other details about the exam.

JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria:  

• The students who have Indian Nationality with a min age limit of 21, and there are 5 years of relaxation for reserved candidates.    
• As per the educational qualification, students must have completed their 12th board exams from a recognized board with a min of 75% as aggregate scores.
• They must mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their intermediate exams.
• Essentially, the performance in JEE Main under 250,000 qualifying candidates will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2022.

Different factors affect the minimum JEE Main cut-off required to take up JEE advanced. Some of the factors affecting the JEE Main cut-off for JEE advanced are:

• No. of candidates participating in JEE Advanced
• The standard of difficulty of the exam
• No. of seats available
• Also, considers the previous year's cut-off scores.

Once the registrations are done, students must prepare for the exam after analyzing the pattern. The JEE Advanced syllabus must be checked in beforehand from the official website. Here is the JEE Advanced 2022 exam pattern to prepare better:

• The JEE Advanced exam is conducted online, i.e., in CBT format.  
• JEE Advanced paper pattern is divided into paper 1 and paper 2. Both the papers have three subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 
• The medium of the exam is available in English and Hindi. 
• The JEE Advanced exam duration is for three hours. 
• According to the marking scheme, the candidates are allotted full, partial, and zero marks for the given questions.
• There is also negative marking given for some of the questions.   

Note: The admit card for JEE Advanced 2022 will be released on August 23, 2022, for registered students. This is a mandatory doc to be carried to the exam hall.  

Here’s how you can download the JEE Advanced 2022 admit card?

• The registered candidates must log in to the website and put their credentials. 
• After the credentials are verified, the respective admit card will be displayed on the screen. 
• The students must check all the details printed on the hall ticket, download the form in PDF format, and take a physical copy of it. 
• In case there are any errors in the admit card must be notified to the exam authority.

What after the exam is over?

The candidates, after the exam, can anticipate the JEE Advanced 2022 answer key on September 03, 2022. The actual JEE Advanced 2022 result is expected to be announced on September 11, 2022. Meanwhile, JEE Advanced 2022 Cut-off list will be released on the website, which can be downloaded from the official website. The qualified students will be called for JEE Advanced counseling process called JoSAA.
