BITSAT 2025 Session 2 Registration Started : Check Dates, Application Form and Process

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science has started the registration window for the BITSAT 2025 session 2. All interested and eligible candidates can now fill out the BITSAT 2025 session 2 application form online. The BITSAT 2025 registration last date to complete and submit is June 10, 2025. To appear for the second session of the BITSAT 2025 exam, candidates have to complete the registration process, pay the application fee and then submit the form within the deadline. Before applying, all candidates need to check the official eligibility criteria.

BITSAT 2025 Session 2 Important Dates

As per the official BITSAT 2025 notice, the entrance exam was held in separate sessions. The BITSAT session 1 exam concluded in May. The BITSAT session 2 exam date is from June 22 to 26, 2025. Candidates can check the table below for the BITSAT session 2 exam important dates.

BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

It is important to understand that admission to BITS is strictly merit-based. A candidate's performance in BITSAT determines it. However, securing qualifying marks does not guarantee admission - candidates must also meet the minimum BITSAT session 2 eligibility of academic qualification, subject requirements and marks. BITS Pilani has officially announced the eligibility criteria based on the academic qualifications of candidates, with specific requirements for each course. Candidates who have completed their class 12th in 2023 are not eligible to apply for admission. Moreover, candidates who have already pursued a degree at any BITS campus will not be permitted to appear for BITSAT 2025. The detailed course-wise criteria are provided below.

 

BITSAT B.E Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have finished their class 12th exam from any recognized board.
• Physics, maths, and chemistry are mandatory subjects for eligibility.
• Students must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and maths combined. Moreover, a minimum of 60% marks in each of these subjects is required.
• There is no age limit. However, candidates must have passed their class 12th either in 2024 or 2025.

 

BITSAT B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have passed the 12th class exam from any recognized Central or State board.
• Applicants must have studied physics, chemistry, and either maths or biology.
• A minimum of 75% marks is required in all the subjects. Additionally, candidates have to score at least 60% individually in each subject.
• There is no specific age restriction for appearing in the exam.

 

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria for Board Toppers

• BITS Pilani offers assured admission to candidates who secured the top position in their respective state or Central board exams.
• For the academic year 2025, all board toppers will be guaranteed direct admission into the program. This admission is independent of their BITSAT 2025 score, provided they meet the basic eligibility requirements.

 

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria for International Students

• Candidates holding a valid passport along with SAT scores will be eligible to apply for BITSAT under the international admission category.
• Candidates must have completed their grade 12 exam and taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), including SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Maths and Chemistry Level 2.
• Moreover, candidates are required to request the College Board to send their SAT scores to BITS Pilani directly.

 

BITSAT Session 2 Application Process

Candidates must carefully go through all the important details before proceeding with the online BITSAT 2025 session to the application process. Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the BITSAT 2025 Online registration:

Step 1: BITSAT Registration

• Visit the official BITSAT 2025 website and click on the ‘BITSAT 2025 registration’ link.
• A new page showing important instructions will appear. Carefully read all the details thoroughly and then click on ‘ Ok’ to continue.
• You will be redirected to another page. Select the option for ‘ New Registration.’
• The registration form is now available. Please start by filling in your details, such as name, date of birth, gender, and nationality.
• Enter your email ID and mobile number for communication.
• Enter the capture code correctly and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

Step 2: Filling Out the BITSAT 2025 Application Form

• Here, candidates have to complete the BITSAT application form 2025 by entering their academic and personal details. They also have to choose their preferred program and provide the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
• Under the personal detailed section, candidates must enter information such as their father's and mother’s names, nationalities, and addresses.
• The academic qualification section will require detailed information related to the 12th class exam. It includes the name of the school, board of education, year of passing and marks secured.
• Sanitary will also have the option to select up to 3 preferred BITSAT exam centres.
• Once all the required fields are completed, candidates have to click on the  ‘Confirm and Submit details’ button. If any corrections are needed, they can click on the ‘Edit Above Details’ option.

Step 3: Uploading the Necessary Documents

• Students have to upload scanned copies of all the necessary documents. To do this, select the ‘Choose File’ button and select the respective files from your device.
• After selecting, click on the  ‘Next’ button to view a preview. If everything looks right, proceed by clicking the ‘Upload’ button to submit documents successfully.

Check below the list of documents required:

1. A recent passport-size photo of the candidate in JPEG / JPG format with a file size from 50 KB to 100 KB..
2. The candidate's signature is in JPEG / JPG format with a file size from 10 KB to 100 KB..
3. A scanned class 10th mark sheet as proof of date of birth.
4. A scanned class 12th mark sheet along with any additional higher qualification certificates (if applicable).

Step 4: Payment of BITSAT 2025 Application Fee

The final step in completing the BITSAT form is paying the application fee. Candidates must remember that once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. The BITSAT registration fee payment can be made via credit card, net banking, debit card, or UPI

Step 5: Final Submission

• Before submitting the application form, kindness has to recheck all the details to ensure accuracy carefully. If any corrections are needed, make them before proceeding.
• Once the form is reviewed and submitted, a confirmation message will be sent to the candidate's email and mobile number.
• It is recommended to take a printout of the completed BITSAT application form 2025 for future use.
