BITS admission test or BITSAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by BITS Pilani. Once the qualified candidates clear the BITSAT exam, they will be eligible to get admissions in one of their campuses at Pilani, Hyderabad or Goa. As per the latest information from the University authority, the registrations for BITSAT 2022 will begin by the last week of February 2022. BITSAT is considered for providing admissions for programs like B.E., B.Pharm. and M.Sc. You can check below for more information. On average, Every year, More than 3 Lakh aspirants register for BITSAT.

The BITSAT 2022 exam is conducted online, i.e. by the CBT method. BITSAT 2022 Question Paper comprises 150 MCQ Questions. The medium of exam in BITSAT is only in the English language. The whole BITSAT paper will be divided into four parts, and the exam is conducted for three hours of course duration. As per BITSAT 2022 Marking Scheme, three marks will be allotted for each correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2022

• The candidates must full fill BITSAT 2022 eligibility requirement to appear for the exam. Before registering online for BITSAT 2022, make sure of the eligibility norms.
• Students must have passed their board exams of 10+2 from any recognized state board.
• Students appearing for B. Pharm must have scored a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.  
• Students who are appearing for courses like B.E must have scored 60% in subjects combinations of PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
• Overall, the candidates must have scored 75% in their board exams.
• As for age criteria, the candidates must be a minimum of 17 years.
• In case of direction admissions in BITS, candidates must have scored a top rank in their State or Central board examination.

How to register and apply for BITSAT 2022

• The registration link for BITSAT 2022 will be live from the last week of February 2022 (tentatively).
• Before registering for BITSAT, students must be aware of the eligibility requirement.
• The BITSAT application form will be available only through online mode.
• A correction window is available for the students to correct their mistakes while filling out the application form (only with selective info). Therefore, they must be careful while filling out the form.    
• The correction window will be open by the last week of May 2022.
• Candidates must fill in info about personal, educational, choice, of course, attaching documents, mark sheets, certificates, etc., for verification.
• The final timeline to submit the application form for BITSAT 2022 is by the final week of May 2022, beyond which the University will accept no further applications.
• Lastly, after the final submission, students must take the printout of the form and the fee receipt for further use.

BITSAT 2022 Admit Card Release Date

• Admit card for BITSAT 2022 will be released for only the registered candidates by the exam conducting authority on their University website. Before downloading admit card, candidates must complete BITSAT 2022 Slot Booking Process.
• As per the tentative schedule, BITSAT 2022 Admit Card will be released by the second week of June 2022. If there is any mistake in the admit card, the candidates must report it to the University authority to make immediate changes. 
• The admit card of BITSAT 2022 is an important document that needs to be carried out on the day of the exam, without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.  

BITS Admission

Candidates who perform well in BITSAT and feature on the BITSAT 2022 Merit list will be processed further. BITS university authority will prepare two different merit lists depending on their performance in BITSAT 2022. In addition, students must satisfy the BITSAT 2022 Cut off norms, as defined by the college authority.
