Vishwakarma Maritime Institute was brought into existence in 2009 in Pune, a city in Maharashtra state. The institute is functioning under Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust and is certified by ISO 9001: 2008. The institute was established with a vision to provide shipping and ship management education to the students.
