Established in 2002, VIIT is a Private Institute located in Pune. The Institute is affiliated with SPPU and approved by NAAC and NBA. AICTE approves the program offered by VIIT. Along with academics, students at VIIT are encouraged to participate in various activities. The Institute got autonomous status by UGC. VIIT has been graded A by NAAC. The Institute of VIIT offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses for students with good marks.      

  • VIIT offers B. Tech at UG level, M. Tech at PG level, and Ph.D. at research level.
  • B. Tech is offered at VIIT with five specializations, and the intake of the course varies from course to course.  
  • Candidates who are willing to apply for the M. Tech course must pass higher secondary exams with 50% marks.
  • Students who are waiting for their results or in the final exams can apply.
  • Students get admission to B. Tech at VIIT based on JEE Main or MHT-CET scores.
  • Final admission at VIIT for B. Tech course depends on counseling conducted by DTE.
  • All students must apply for CAP counseling to get admission.
  • Students who belong to the Maharashtra state will be granted seats based on MHT-CET scores only.
  • VIIT offers M. Tech courses in six specializations to the graduates with valid scores.  
  • M. Tech at VIIT is offered to the students who have obtained 50% marks in B.E or B. Tech examination.
  • The Selection for admission at VIIT for M. Tech is based on valid scores in the GATE exam.
  • VIIT provides 18 seats in total for each M. tech course.
  • VIIT gives 5% relaxation for the SC / ST candidates.
  • Ph.D. at VIIT is offered in three specializations to graduates with valid scores.
  • Students applying for Ph.D. must have passed Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Admission for Ph.D. at VIIT depends on scores in the entrance exam conducted by the Institute.  
  • Disabled students, backward class students will get 5% relaxation.
  • Admission for the course mentioned above at VIIT is made based on CAP counseling.
  • Students will have to apply on the official website of DTE.
  • Candidates will have to register online and submit the documents.
  • After the verification of documents, students can fill the application form of the preferred course and Institution.  
  • After the CAP final round, students can visit the preferred Institute for confirmation.
