Vidya School of Business Courses offered

The only programs offered by VSB are MBA and Ph.D. MBA is a 2 years program divided into 4 semesters. Students willing to achieve higher studies in the management stream can choose this program. It is an on-campus and full-time course.  

The minimum eligibility criteria for the VSB MBA program is to have a 50% mark in UG Degree from any recognized University in any discipline like Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Engineering, etc. For reserved candidates, 45% marks are also accepted. The total intake of students per academic year is 120. The accepted entrance exam for admissions is CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ UPCET with valid scores.  

The admissions are accepted in online mode. Students must check the official website for an application form, fill out the form, attach the docs, and pay the form fees online. 

Vidya School of Business Placements 

VSB has its individual Corporate Connect and placement department that functions with the intention of providing modern training and innovative methodologies to provide career guidance for its students. The department has many facilities like a conference hall for guest lectures and industry workshops, GD and PI rooms, lab facilities to conduct online tests, etc. The VSB placement success rate ranges from 80% to 100%. 

Some of the common companies that visit the campus for placement drives are Genpact, HDFC, Kotak, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, HCL, Capgemini, NIIT, Trigent, etc. The highest package is INR 11 LPA, and the VSB average package is INR 4 LPA.

Vidya School of Business Scholarships

VSB also offers financial assistance like scholarships to help students with tuition fees. These scholarships can relax the academic tuition for a two-year MBA. 

Eligibility is based on the student's GPA in the previous qualifying exam, course rigour, and financial need. Some scholarships need students to write an essay. Some are given based on the category of the students. The scholarship percentage is between 5% to 20%. Students who meet the above eligibility can claim relaxation during the course period. The scholarship is obtained by filling out the relevant application form. It can be obtained from the VSB authority. Applicants must also provide the respective docs that act as proof of concession. 

Vidya School of Business Infrastructure facilities 

VSB Meerut has excellent campus facilities, including a library, hostels, cafeteria, Auditoriums, conference halls, computer laboratories, transportation and a sports complex. It also offers well-equipped classrooms with LCD Projectors and AV systems. The college also conducts cultural and student engagement activities throughout the year.

Hostel facility: It has separate hostels for boys and girls on VSB's campus with Wi-Fi facilities. The rooms are equipped with clean beds, study tables and other furniture. Each room has 24-hour electricity, a good water supply and is air-conditioned. An external security agency also backs the hostels to ensure the safety of all students. It also has a mess serving hygienically prepared vegetarian food in Indian and continental styles. Students must make a security deposit of INR 5000. The Vidya School of Business hostel fee structure is INR 77K per annum.
