Venkateshwara Institute of Technology, shortly known as VIT, is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This institute was started in 2007 as one of the private engineering colleges in the state. VIT functions with approvals from AICTE, NCTE, and PCI. It has been affiliated with AKTU Lucknow. VIT is a part of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutions. They offer many courses under streams like engineering, management, computer applications, commerce, education, etc. At the UG level, B-Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Lib, and B.Ed. are offered. The minimum eligibility criteria are to have a minimum of 55% aggregate scores in 10+2 board exams in any stream. In the case of B-Tech, the selections are based on JEE Main or UPCET scores.

At the PG level, M-Tech, MBA, and MCA courses are offered. The basic criteria are to have passed a graduation degree. The selections are based on academic merit and entrance exam scores. Here, the students who have secured 90% marks in their academic exam will get tuition fees waived up to 75%. If the students get 85% marks, they will get a 25% tuition fee relaxation. The college also offers extra-curricular excellence scholarships.
