Subharti Institute of Management & Commerce

In 2008, the Subharti Institute of Management and Commerce was initiated. It is a private college and a constituent college of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. SIMC is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Subharti University. The institute's course syllabus is UGC-approved.

The mission of the college is to develop itself to become one of the world-class business schools that has been recognized for academic excellence. The institute has secured many rankings and recognitions based on the overall experience. The courses offered by the institute are at the UG and PG levels in the fields of management, commerce, and doctoral. The entire campus is spread across a wide land. It is known for offering various facilities like Classrooms, Library, Computer labs, Gym and more.

SIMC has received various rankings and recognitions for its annual academic excellence over the years. 

• Outlook magazine has ranked the college in 128th position out of 130 private colleges in India for its BBA/ BBM results. 
• For the MBA annual results, TOI ranked SIMC in the 139th position out of 150 colleges in India. 
• According to Collegedunia Ranking 2023, SIMC was given 334 ranks out of 608 management colleges in India for its MBA performance. 

Subharti Institute of Management and Commerce Courses offered

As a part of SVSU, SIMC offers a variety of academic programs. At present, the list of courses offered are BBA, B.Com, MBA (regular and executive), M.Com and Ph.D. in relevant specializations. The eligibility for Subharti Institute of Management and Commerce course admissions is based on academic merit and entrance. 

• For BBA and B.Com admissions, the college will look for 10+2 qualifying marks from recognized boards. 
• For MBA and E-MBA, the admissions are based on graduation scores with entrance exam scores. The accepted exams are SUET (conducted by the University) or national exams like CAT/ MAT/ CMAT, etc. 
• Even Ph.D. admissions are based on SUET scores followed by interview performance.

SIMC Meerut placements have individual cell set-ups to provide training for the students. The cell runs with the intention of providing maximum placements for students through dedication, attitude and complete involvement. The placement department aims to offer their dream job to the students of the University with reputed industries.

Some of the top companies that visit the campus are Genpact, Concentrix, Radisson Blue, Fortis, Jaypee Hospital, etc. The total success rate of placements at SIMC is around 79%. The highest package recorded to date is INR 6 LPA, and the average salary offered is INR 3.5 LPA. 

Subharti Institute of Management and Commerce Scholarships

Students of SIMC are provided with a scholarship facility. It is applicable only to eligible students. According to the University and government norms, this institute will give the concessions. They have a separate cell which looks after all the necessary tasks. It mainly focuses on merit scholarships, i.e., those given to students who have scored more than 80% in their last qualifying exam. Also, students from the SC/ ST/ OBC category with a minimum of 60% marks can still claim relaxation. Even students from weaker financial backgrounds will get assistance to overcome financial constraints.

SIMC has boasted about the advanced facilities it offers its students. Hostel facility: As an added advantage, students can apply for hostel accommodation if they cannot travel on a daily basis. SIMC has separate buildings for boys and girls. The rooms are well-maintained and are provided on a sharing basis.
