Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET) is a private Engineering college that began its functioning in 2009 and is managed under the aegis of Uma Shankar Educational Trust. DIET is situated on 6 acres of land on Delhi Haridwar Bypass Road (NH 58) in Meerut City, with greenery surrounding the Institute for effective teaching-learning activity.

DIET offers Polytechnic Diploma and B.Tech courses with various specializations by having its approval from AICTE and BTE and support from AKTU, Lucknow. The Institute has five departments for each discipline, namely Dpt. of Computer Science & Engineering, Dpt. of Civil Engineering, Dpt. of Automobile Engineering, Dpt. of Mechanical Engineering, and Dpt Electronics & Communication Engineering.
